Shepherds Pie☆Cottage Pie
So…this weeks menu is one of my favourites from good old ENGLAND!

2. Place meat in dish and spread mashed potatoes & grated cheese

3. Place under the grill for 5 mins

4.Serve with Veg (my favourites broccoli&carrots)

Ingredients ::
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
– 500g minced beef
– 1 large onion, finely grated
– 4 cloves garlic
– 1-2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tbsp tomato puree
– 300ml chicken stock
– 500g potatoes, boil and mash
– 50g butter
– 1/2 cup milk
– Cheddar Cheese
– A sprinkle of Parmesan
– Olive oil
Approx 45mins (serves 4) That mean’s there was plenty for my man to tuck into.

I have to confess, I’m really starting to enjoy cooking now…especially as I don’t really get that much time during the week! Soon you won’t be able to get me out of the Kitchen. Even though I wanted to cook Jerk Chicken this week (I couldn’t find the spice! Probably only available at import shops #note to self) It still went down really well. I think I’m getting confident because I’m creating these dishes from scratch without the aid of a cook book (Ooops, no doubt I spoke too soon!)
