Window Shopping at LAVIN

I want REAL Lavin… (NOT Lavin H&M)

While the rest of world was in a frenzy last week about this years most anticipated  collaboration in “fashion”, I decided to take a look at the real LAVIN. I’m really big on details (stitching, material, texture, colour etc.) So I just wanted to compare the two…

Who could blame me?

Even though I haven’t had a chance (might not be able) to see the Lavin H&M collection as I’ve been out of town visiting Osaka, Kyoto & Kobe for the past few days. And the Tokyo stores stocked the collection from Tuesday 23rd November.

Everyone knows I’m a Huge H&M shopper, but that’s only because I know the clothes are in one season & out the next, it’s cheap & chic. It’s unmistakable that Lavin is much more of a “Luxury” Brand than H&M can dream of or ever will be, unfortunately. So when I buy brand goods I’m expecting them to last. Unlike H&M clothes after a season worth of wash loads later the material is totally screwed!

Will this happen with the Collaborations clothing….?

Of course…

So, even if my eyes can’t stop staring at the screen at the beautiful colours, prints and patterns in reality it fails to reach my expectations every time. Yes, believe it or not I like to learn from my mistakes.

But material aside, LAVIN H&M will be the talk of fashionistas worldwide for the next month or so… and I’m looking forward to going to Christmas/New Year parties to see just how many people show up in the same outfit!
