Do you remember this Kちゃん?
I can’t remember the last time we met….but time doesn’t matter!
“They say everlasting friends can go long periods of time without speaking and never question the friendship. These types of friends pick up like they just spoke yesterday, regardless of how long it has been or how faraway they live, and they don’t hold grudges. They understand that life is busy …but you will ALWAYS love them.”
I only have a handful of friends like this and Kana is one of them and I thank the powers that be for bringing her into my life.
This Chinese spot was on one of those popular Variety shows which highlight “Great food, but not so great interiors!” (basically all Japanese TV shows at some point have food displayed in some shape or form!)
So, I’m always down for meeting in shimokita, even though I rarely grace the town with my presence these days due to my hectic schedule (I used to be there every week)!!
Who said Fried food was bad for you…?
Seriously time have flown by this year… I really need 48hours in a day and maybe just maybe I’d be able to do half of what I want to do! But until then I’ll have to be satisfied with the 24hrs given and make the most of it!
After listening to Kちゃん describe the intimate details of her truly inspirational experience in Europe this past year it really made me think, what happened to me?
I came over here for the SAME reason, to find true inspiration in Architecure, Art and Design, find myself and what I want to do and make of myself in the future…
But somewhere along the way I have become comfortable with my lifestyle (I want so much more than this) and lost track of my vision and ambition. Why?
I think that is going to have to be one of my new year’s resolutions…more ME TIME!
