#10 Style iCons 2010

———————————————————————————————————

1. KATE MOSS

Many people ask me why I love Kate Moss so much, is it her modeling Career, No! Is it her looks, No! Is it her style, YES, YES, YES! I think she could make a bed sheet look great.

Her style is ROCK Chic & classic

She always wears plain colours, Grey/Black/White!

I love the fur (hopefully faux fur) on her! In fact I need a new coat… I saw a gorge white faux fur in Zara today… but I’m still in two minds to snap it up or not as it’s not really THAT cold in Tokyo, so will I get much use out of it!?

2. M.I.A

Why do I like her style?

It’s just so quirky & unique but at the same time very trendy and she often wears very bold prints & colours (A women after my own heart!)

That edgy look is hard to rock, but she does it so effortlessly!

3. TOLULA ADEYEMI

And Why do I like Ms. Adeyemi style?

well it’s simple, women of colour tend to fair better when it comes to bright colours there’s no doubt about that!

But she mixes classic sophiticated looks with urban colours & prints to give it that original feel.

You can’t go wrong with animal prints in my eyes.

4.TEYANA TAYLOR

Well, what have we hear, I young singer just making her way in the “Game” getting snapped by papz everywhere and why?

Because she is cute and wears funky but hip hop cultured clothing for the most part and even when she wears girly stuff, she’ll dress it down with a pair of sneakers.

Something I’d love to incorporate into my wardrobe as I have a growing collection of sneakers myself.

5. RIHANNA

And now RiRi, everyones favourite good girl gone bad!

I think she is high styled, but I have to admit I preferred her Caribbean edgy look at the beginning of her career!

This whole lookalike- Lady Gaga… doesn’t bode well with me!

I hope she returns to a more fun & girly style that she has be flashes this past summer with bright colours. Much more fitting

6. JESSICA ALBA

She really embodies the “Girl next door” look simple & casually affordable yet totally effortless!

I really admire celebs who look like they’ve hardly spent any time throwing their outfit together!

She does just that! Plus she always wears really stunning gowns to awards shoes!

7. NICKI MINAJ

I don’t where she got her stylist from… but 10/1/ on this one!

But she’s always kitted out with best wigs to boot! Not only do her clothes express a part of her personality so do her hair styles, I guess that’s why she’s constantly changing as she evolves as an artist.

I’ve got to hand it to her for the outrageous leopard skin tight jumpsuit! No where can I find it?

8. JAMEELA JAMIL

One of the T4 presenters (Oh gone are the days I used watch T4 sunday morning… hollyoaks… I wonder if that’s still on!?)

well her style is rock & chic prep in a nutshell with a lil bit of preppy thrown in for good measure.

9. HASEGAWA JUN

So what do I think about Jun Hasegawa…

Well I just think she’s so cute & has a great warmth to her TV and through mag shoots!

Her style is quite versatile but I think she looks best in chic & sultry clothing, but she also carries of the slightly tomboyish look as well.

10. MICHELLE OBAMA

The first Lady hasn’t looed so good since Jackie O

Correct me if I’m wrong! But does Mrs. Obama know how to dress or what!?

In this Marc Jacobs dress she looks stunning, no one would be able to guess that she is a mother of two. Damn I hope I look that good in my forties!

So that sums up my STYLE iCons 2010! Thanks for reading….

Who inspires you? Where do you get your style from? What looks do you love or hate?
