☆クリスマスイブ☆

横浜Red Brick Warehouse…

ちょっとレイットね!

My favourite place in Yokohama was lit up & swamped with visitors that night! Exactly the type of place that my man hates and he can’t stand when people push or shove me, well neither do I to be honest, but sometimes I realise that it can’t be helped however he disagrees and believes people need to be more considerate when it comes to personal space. I on the other hand gave up 2 years ago.

Personal space in Tokyo…does such a thing exist?

だれがイエス?

I believe that is the question on everyones lips at this time of year! But more so in Japan because less than 1% of the population are Christian so what does that mean, I guess over here Christmas has NO religious meaning!

ぜったいだめだね!

But Still, people enjoy spending Christmas eve with their loved one.

みなとみらいです

.

There was a beautiful display of candles underneath this archway.

Time to Shop!hehe… As my man squints and mumbles “not again!”.

SO I found another bargin… A girl can NEVER have too many shoes! Am I right or am I right?

Bottes from Balenciaga Balancoire, as there were already a tonne of shops holding a SALE.

I was freezing so my man got me a HOT COCO from Meiji… this is THE only canned hot chocolate to drink ! Trust me.

QUEEN’S SQUARE Yokohama

Beautiful illuminations…but it always beats me why they are mostly BLUE!?

なぜ?まだ、わかりません。ちょっとWeirdじゃない! I always think of red/green/gold/silver/white during Christmas.

There was some kind of entertainment, comedy? Fire show? I think..I wasn’t really paying that much attention as it was FREEZING! I just wanted to get inside to be honest, but the crowds laughter drew me in.

The LandMark Tower or rather FREE MASON tower as some call it~! SYMBOLISM is all around us, we just don’t pay it any mind these days.

Oh Lordy me, you should have seen the queue for the Ferris Wheel! Guess how long the waiting list was??

3hours!

I love the view from the Land Mark Tower & Ferris Wheel, but there was no way we I was going to wait around for 3 hours!

So we moved to world potters where the Steak joint was bursting with customers and had a longer line of course.

Keep moving, don’t stop! On to the shopping and next Red Brick building the high light of the evening…

And what a pleasant and memorable night it was in more ways than one.
