So I was bored one night and was sick & tired of seeing my man’s hat collection just piled ontop of each other. So As I have done in the past with my hats & headpieces (due to lack of storage “SPACE”) in Tokyo. I found a great way to store & organise an easy way to select the hat you want to wear.
Around the House I usually have free reign with how to apply my interior & design skills, VOILA.
And of course I’m always looking for an opportunity to take a snap and the situation presented itself kindly so, here “I am” Modeling one my the “OSAKA” New Era caps.
I have always been a fan of hats, mostly because of my mother who absolutely adores the (but we have very different tastes) Philip Tracey glamourous style types etc. Whereas I’m more, what can I say low key (minus the flowers and nets basically!)
I’ve realised recently just how influencial dressing up in my mothers wardrobe full of YSL, Escada, Givenchy and Salvatore Ferragamo etc I have in a sense become my mother in many ways (minus the huge collection of designer clothing unfortunately). I love Vintage shops now. I think one lesson I have slowly learned is quality is MUCH better than quantity.
Quality lasts.
So the last few times I’ve ventured out shopping I’ve come home empty handed, however I did pick up a glorious brown floppy hat at Moussy the other day 70s eat your heart out! LOVES IT.
